Coach Cervantes is currently in her 8^th year at El Diamante High School as the head girls' basketball coach. In the 2018-19 and 2021-22 seasons she was named Coach of the year for the WYL. In 2022-23 season her team made history by winning 22 games: the most in program history. Their overall record was 22-5 that season. She is also the JV volleyball (9^th season) coach and assistant varsity softball coach at El Diamante (9^th season). Prior to coaching at El Diamante her coaching experience included: Divisadero, Green Acres, Redwood and Tulare Union. 

She is a 2006 graduate of Mt. Whitney High School where she played volleyball, basketball and softball. She is a two time All American for softball at Mt. Whitney. She also played softball at COS where she was an All American for softball and went on to play at Division II University of West Alabama.
