Coach Halees is a Spanish teacher here at El Diamante. He has been coaching for the past 7 years as well as ran cross country for the past 20 years.  In his personal opinion, cross country is the hardest sport that takes dedication and a good attitude. Even though it is a difficult sport it is also a fun community and it is a life long sport you can continue long after high school.
