Mr.Clyburne grew up in Visalia.  He has a wife of 30 years and 2 children who graduated from El Diamante.  His children are currently at Fresno State.  Mr. Clyburne attended college at COS and Fresno State before graduating from Fresno Pacific with a degree in mathematics.  He has been teaching math for over 30 years.  Coach Clyburne has been a girls volleyball coach for as long as he has been teaching, along with coaching boys golf for 25 years.  During his coaching career Coach Clyburne was the head coach for 2 State Championship Volleyball Teams along with a Central Section Title.  As a golf coach Mr. Clyburne led the El Diamante boys golf team to a Central Section Title in 2018.  His goal as a coach is to provide an environment where his players can succeed.  Coach Clyburne is focused on winning along with developing players, but wants his teams to have fun along the way.
