Readers voted El Diamante baseball player Malachi Moreno as the Visalia Times-Delta Tulare County high school athlete of the week.

In an online poll that closed on March 14, Moreno received 11,264 votes, or a 47.78% majority, of the 23,576 responses. Moreno won by just 228 votes.
